It was synchronicity that I found this quote on Quora (I love Quora). Seconds before I was writing a chapter in a new book on how to ditch coupons and still save money grocery shopping and I was trying to explain the perception of the “you saved this much money” line often used on store receipts. Pesto is so versatile! In warm weather, use pesto on cold pasta favorites, such as fusilli, gemelli, or elbow noodles. Add chopped tomatoes and serve on a bed of lettuce. In cooler weather, serve pesto on hot pasta, such as capellini, spaghetti or linguine. Or, use it any time on sandwiches, pizza, salads or crackers.
