Yesterday was my third visit to consignment shop, Plato’s Closest in nearby Orange. Though it is a store aimed at teenagers and 20-somethings, it was full of folks of all ages shopping and selling clothes and shoes.
They are currently having a Winter Clearance event. Nearly everything I got for my daughter was $5.00 each: 1 long black cardigan she’s been wanting, a black sweater, and a pair of dark wash jeans. I did get her a pair of navy blue and white patterned pants that was not on clearance, but was only $12.
For me, I got a pair of dark wash denim jeans that still had the tags on it from Loft for $5.00 and a pair of Nike Dual Fusion 2 running sneakers, practically new, on clearance for only $23.00. Score!
Like I said, it’s a store aimed at a younger crowd, but you never know what you may find for yourself when you take your teenager here. Last time we went as a family, my husband found a great pullover with the tags still on it.
