Grout Cleaning Recipe: Must try this asap! Nothing I’ve ever used has helped the grout in one of my bathrooms. I’m going to try this….The recipe comes from a private FB page that was shared on my private FB page (huh?). Anyhow, I’m sharing the whole recipe here and it is supposed to work wonders. I’m also sharing the image that went with the FB post (via courtesy of Lynn Cole but used without permission, so it may have to come down….?):

Spring Cleaning Recipe for Grout
7 cups water, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/3 cup lemon juice and 1/4 cup vinegar – throw in a spray bottle and spray your floor, let it sit for a minute or two… then scrub
Pillow Cleaning Tutorial: Oh, I just love this tutorial by One Good Thing by Jillee’s blog!!! I’m tired of throwing out pillows, too. This looks easy. Just a warning: don’t put two king size pillows in the washer!!

Here’s an easy & all-natural repellent mix you can make at home:
Combine in a 16 oz bottle:
15 drops lavender oil
3-4 Tbsp of vanilla extract
1/4 Cup lemon juice.
Fill bottle with water.
Shake.
