I got this recipe from Mothering Magazine (not sure which month or year). It’s been a family favorite for at least a couple of years.

The ingredients:
2 c. unsweetened coconut flakes
1 c. cocoa powder
1 c. raw honey
1/2 c. nut butter of your choice
1/3 cup raw coconut oil

Pulse all ingredients in food processor to a brownie-like consistency. Shape into small balls and roll in additional shredded coconut or press into a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish, to cut into bars later. Or you can do a combo of both and use smaller dishes. See the photo at the top.
Keep in refridgerator – these melt quickly.
Enjoy!

Hi Aimee, I think you may have brought these to one of our meetings before. Delicious! Have you ever tried freezing the batter? Thanks, Karen
Hi Karen! Yes, you’re right, I have brought these to our co-op meetings. I haven’t tried freezing it, but I bet it would work. You would probably want to shape it first, either balls or bars, then freeze. Happy no-baking! ~Aimee~,TFF
