The Daily Tightwad Tutor–Lesson #9: Clean a Stubborn Stovetop Stain With Lemon Juice

A Jif Lemon
Lemon juice to the rescue! This tip from The Cheapskate Mom is great, I can’t wait to try pouring lemon juice on my black stove top to clean it up. If it works, I don’t have to buy those dreadful and expensive cleaners anymore. Yay! (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

The Daily Tightwad Tutor–Lesson #9: Clean a Stubborn Stovetop Stain with Lemon Juice (Thanks to the Cheapskate Mom!!)

I HAVE to try this ASAP. I love this tip from The Cheapskate Mom. Pour some lemon juice on a cool stove top, wait about an hour, then wipe up. I have a black stove. I can’t stand the store-bought cleaners, either, so I’m going to try this. (I typically use vinegar and lemon juice on my stove top to quickly clean it off, not lemon juice straight. But the mixture doesn’t really do a great job getting rid of the stubborn stains. Maybe lemon juice uncut is the key to dissolving baked on gunk.)

Thank you so much, Cheapskate Mom!!!
