Gas Cards @ Stop & Shop: Get $50 of Gas for $40!

Whenever you see this deal at Stop & Shop, pounce on it: Buy $50 in gift cards at Stop & Shop and get a $10.00 Catalina good on your next purchase. It’s just like cash. But–here’s the twist: buy gas cards for $50! (Hitch: you don’t get Stop & Shop gas points for buying gas gift cards.) Look at it as if you are getting $50 of gas for $40. At least that’s how I like to look at it!

Thank you to Living Rich With Coupons for this great idea.

(Quick note: I realize there are two posts in a row involving Shell Gas. No intention behind it at all! LOL!)

  1. Does your blog have a contact page? I’m having problems locating
it but, I’d like to shoot you an email. I’ve got some suggestions for your
blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great site and I look forward to seeing it grow over time.

  2. Hi Wendy here
This is a really good deal I bought an Amazon card for $50.00 and got the $10.00 Catalina I may buy some more cards to use as Christmas presents

    1. I definitely plan to do that, too. Plus graduation gifts. Here’s the thing, I’m not sure if it was one deal per customer or unlimited. I didn’t get a Catalina today on my second set of gas cards, but at the same time, the cashier ran out of Catalina paper. So, went to the front desk, got a Stop & Shop gift card for $10 to take the place of the Catalina. I didn’t ask if it was one deal per customer — the line was a mile long and just wanted to get out of the store. Hmmmm….Marilyn

      1. Wendy here again There is such a big variety of cards and so many different occasions they could be used for
Also Shoprite is doing the same deal I think you can do one deal a day ?? ( but I’m not quite sure about that ??)

  3. Hi. Sounds like a good deal. Thanks for the heads up. I have to see if it’ll work for me. I don’t go to any of the places the gift cards are for. I also buy my gas at a discounted station that isn’t a brand name. But I am still going to carefully look over this deal because it sounds like a good one. I sometimes shop at Stop & Shop (like today!) and perhaps the gas cards may come in handy for some future traveling.
Again, thanks. You girls always have the greatest ideas!
