A while ago, TFF ran posts about ThredUp and Twice as Nice, an online consignment shop. Well, we found a clothing swap site, Swap.com.
Swap.com has been swapping entertainment media like DVD’s, CD’s, books and games, for a while, but new owner since August 2012, Netcycler, an international company, is expanding the service. The latest of the Swap.com services, Swap.com Valet Service, is specialized in kids’ toys, games and clothing and more. Its goal is to become the world’s first consumer-to-consumer department store, letting users sell or swap what they have for something they need. The site has clothing for adults, kids, plus toys and more.
I have not used the service because I don’t have anything to swap right now, but it looks stable, safe, and convenient. Another reason I don’t do online services like this (I don’t buy online much…)–the shipping and selling fees (which you will find on the site)! I am not a fan of those, but others don’t mind. Those types of fees are sort of the equivalent of gas prices, right?!
However, if you want to take advantage of a free shipping offer it has, keep reading. Each reader is offered a free shipping discount code for shipping items to the Swap.com Valet Service. The code is valid for 30 days. To access the free shipping code, go to this link: http://urlt.ag/hASK The link will give one code for every user. If there are problems getting the free shipping code/link, please email: henni@swap.com and she will help you out.
Let me know how it goes if you use the service, or any of the online thrift/consignment/swap services!
And ps: as always, just letting you know that TFF is NOT affiliated with the company (we don’t do affiliates or advertising).
